The SUNY Computing Officers Association (COA) congratulates the dedicated facilitators of the COA Monthly Collaboration Groups for winning the SUNY CCIO Team Collaboration Award for 2024. Representing a community of over 900 members across SUNY, these leaders have demonstrated the incredible power of collective effort, knowledge sharing, and peer-to-peer engagement.
We proudly recognize the following collaboration groups and their group facilitators:
- Coffee and Conversation: Krystal Perlman (Brockport) and Deb McClenon (Oneonta)
- TeamDynamix (TDX) Collaboration Group: Amy Swan (SICAS) and Varya McCaslin Doyle (Cortland)
- M365 Collaboration Group: Deb McClenon (Oneonta), Krystal Perlman (Brockport), and Tyler Billings (Alfred)
- Programmers Discussion Hour: DJ Broadbent (Potsdam) and Laura Coriddi (Brockport)
- TDX iPaaS Group: Jim Lucas (Plattsburgh) and Grady Miller (Delhi)
By organizing regular monthly meetings, curating meaningful agendas, and soliciting relevant topics from across campuses, these volunteers have created vital channels for professional development and growth. Their passion, volunteerism, and commitment have built strong relationships of trust across diverse institutions, uniting staff throughout the system and fostering initiatives like the COA Mentor Program.
