COA hosts five monthly collaboration calls:
Coffee & Conversation – Hosted the first Friday of the month
Each monthly call is themed and serves as a way for SUNY COA Members to informally connect on a regular basis. COA Coffee and Conversation started out of a desire to establish more connections across all of SUNY. This was the first COA Collaboration group and its success led to the development of other groups.
TeamDynamix (TDX) Collaboration Group – Hosted the second Friday of the month
With the shift from other ITSM tools by many campuses to the TeamDynamix platform, this group has been formed to provide a forum for new and existing TeamDynamix campuses to make the best of their instances and processes. This is a great place to share ITSM, asset management, change management, and project management best practices and experiences. The facilitators for this group are Aimee Swan (Aimee.Swan@oneonta.edu ) from ITEC and Varya McCaslin-Doyle from Cortland (varya.mccaslin-doyle@cortland.edu)
M365 Collaboration Group – Hosted the third Friday of the month
Modeled after the National Microsoft Office Hours, this collaboration group spawned out of changes in the Microsoft Campus Agreement entitlements. This group informally discusses different Microsoft technologies from the on-campus perspective. Community members present and share tips, tricks, best practices, and we all celebrate each other’s successes. This group has also been a big success as we see participation grow each month. Want to share something awesome your campus is doing or looking for a group to discuss a particular topic? Contact the M365 Group facilitators Deb McClenon from Oneonta (Deb.McClenon@oneonta.edu) and Krystal Perlman from Brockport (Kperlman@brockport.edu)
Programmers Collaboration Group – Hosted the fourth Friday of the month
Our monthly programmers’ chat provides an ideal platform to connect, learn, and engage in discussions related to Banner programming, database coding, scripting, integrations, and any of the other myriad tasks that fall into the lap of a SUNY programmer. Each month, we select a topic for community members to share their approaches to solving common challenges. If you have an idea for a topic you would like to discuss in a future meeting, drop your suggestions into the Programming Community Teams chat channel or message the facilitators for this group: DJ Broadbent from Potsdam (broadbdj@potsdam.edu) and Laura Coriddi from Brockport (lcoriddi@brockport.edu).
TDX iPaaS Group – Hosted on the fourth Thursday of the month
Each monthly call serves as a way for TeamDynamix (TDX) iPaaS users to informally connect on a regular basis. Community members ask questions, share experiences, and participate in discussions. Group facilitators: Jim Lucas from Plattsburgh (lucasjm@plattsburgh.edu) and Grady Miller from Delhi (millergu@delhi.edu)
